Dr. Amelia Khan

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Amelia Khan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. degree in Animal Bioscience in 2006. She attended veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania in 2010. With dreams of the big city, Dr. Khan pursued a one-year internship in medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center and was happy to become a part of City Veterinary Care following completion. Her professional interests include emergency/critical care and internal medicine. In early 2017, Dr. Khan completed specialized ultrasound courses at the Academy of Veterinary Imaging, and she now performs abdominal ultrasounds at City Veterinary Care. She currently lives on the Upper West Side with her fiance, their cats, Manolo and Badgley, and their dog, Edie.
