Dr. Alexis Holroyde

Dr. Alexis Holroyde grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs.  She obtained her BA in psychology from New York University in 2005.  After taking a year off to work in the Philadelphia Zoo as a presenter in the Children's Zoo, she went to Veterinary School at the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine.  Dr. Holroyde then went on to complete a year of small animal internship at the Animal Medical Center in NYC.  For the last 10 years, Dr. Holroyde has been working in general practice in lower Manhattan.  She currently lives on the Upper West Side with her husband and feisty cat "Chef".  In her spare time she enjoys reading, hiking and gardening.
